ORALITE® UV Traffic Sign Printer Express
Established in 2018, the ORALITE® UV Traffic Sign Printer Express is a compact entry-level solution for professional traffic sign printing. Optimised print heads increase system stability and reduce maintenance requirements by minimising the need for print head replacement. This enables reliable and economical operation in limited space.
ORALITE® UV Traffic Sign Printer XP eXtra Performing
The ORALITE® UV Traffic Sign Printer XP eXtra Performing is designed for high-productivity large-format printing. Processing one or two rolls enables high throughput rates while maintaining excellent print quality. A newly developed print carriage provides additional stability and ensures consistently precise results even at high production volumes.
ORALITE® 5019i UV Digital Printing Ink
ORALITE® 5019i is a durable, UV-curing inkjet ink to produce traffic signs. It is specially designed for use in the ORALITE® UV Traffic Sign Printer and is compatible with ORALITE® reflective films. The optimally coordinated interaction of printing system, ink and material ensure consistently high quality and durability.
Technology
Digital printing technology stands for certified and reliable printing solutions, high efficiency thanks to LED curing and excellent print quality with spot colours. Intelligent print head self-maintenance functions support stable operation and reduce maintenance requirements.
UV digital printing with LED technology
The UV-curing inks used are particularly resistant to weathering and mechanical stress. LED curing hardens the ink immediately after printing, so that the printed films can be further processed without drying time.
The process is suitable for various ORALITE® material surfaces and is environmentally friendly, as it does not use volatile solvents. It supports both print-on-demand applications and economical series production.
LED curing is characterised by low energy consumption, permanently constant UV output and reduced maintenance and operating costs. In addition, the system does not contain mercury and meets the requirements of the RoHS directive.
Asanti Workflow Software
Agfa Asanti workflow software controls the entire printing process and ensures high process reliability. Continuous compatibility with current Windows versions ensures stable and smooth operations.
Predefined traffic sign profiles facilitate production and reduce setup times. Functions for media compensation and spot colour processing support efficient ink consumption and consistently high print quality. The software is optimally tailored to downstream finishing processes. Optional functions such as contour-accurate nesting and a dashboard for production monitoring are available.
