Marcel Janßen

Responsible for technology development, IT & digitalization, maintenance and management of expansion and construction projects

Marcel Janßen is continuously developing ORAFOL's technology portfolio. At ORAFOL's headquarters in Oranienburg, he is responsible for more than 200 machines and systems, their maintenance and modernization, as well as the digitalization of the entire production and logistics system. Marcel Janßen also manages the implementation of the ORAFOL Group's expansion and construction projects.

Born in Berlin in 1971. Studied energy and process engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and subsequently worked in construction and project management on various construction projects.

2001 Joined ORAFOL Europe GmbH in Oranienburg as a process engineer. Head of the Process Engineering department from 2010. Technical Director from 2015 to 2020. Since September 2021, Marcel Janßen has been Senior Vice President Engineering & Technology and Technical Director of the ORAFOL Group.
