ORAFOL Strengthens Market Position with Expansion of Advanced TPU Division

With the acquisition completed in April 2021, ORAFOL took a significant strategic step to expand its portfolio of high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) films. The operations formerly known as NUPRO LLC are now fully integrated into ORAFOL's Advanced TPU Division, enhancing the company's capabilities in optically clear TPU film production.

Founded in 2015 in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, the business quickly earned a strong reputation for producing optically clear TPU films with exceptional quality standards and outstanding customer service. Today, that expertise continues within ORAFOL’s global structure, strengthening innovation and enabling the company to provide comprehensive solutions to customers worldwide.

The Advanced TPU Division’s proprietary flat die extrusion technology enables the production of high-quality films with material thicknesses ranging from 25 to 2,500 µm (0.001" - 0.100") and widths between 1.27 m to 2 m (50 - 80"). These films are ideally suited for demanding surface protection applications in industries such as electronics, automotive, aviation, medical technology, and wind energy.
