UV digital printing

The ORALITE® UV Traffic Sign Printer is based on the Agfa Anapurna H1650i LED, H1650 LED XP and Ciervo H3200 LED systems. These printing systems enable the production of standard-compliant, durable traffic signs and impress with their high process stability, excellent print quality and maximum flexibility. In combination with the specially formulated ORALITE® 5019i UV Digital Printing Ink, brilliant colours are produced on reflective films, allowing for uninterrupted further processing.

ECO-solvent printing

The ORALITE® ECO Traffic Printer, developed in collaboration with Roland DG, is the compact, robust solution for the economical production of temporary and permanent traffic signs and graphic applications. In combination with ORALITE® 5017 ECO Solvent Digital Printing Ink, it produces lightfast print results that dry quickly and enable an uninterrupted production process.

Technology

The digital printing systems stand for stable processes, fast drying and immediate further processing. They support all ORALITE® material surfaces and guarantee consistent printing results. The interaction of the printing system, ink and software creates reliable, standard-compliant printing processes that support users in all their jobs.

UV technology

UV digital printing technology uses LED-cured inks that cure immediately after printing. This allows immediate further processing of the printed films without waiting time. LED curing is characterised by low energy consumption, consistent UV performance over many years and reduced maintenance requirements. At the same time, it eliminates the use of mercury, making the technology environmentally friendly and RoHS-compliant. UV technology delivers highly transparent, brilliant colours, is particularly durable and resistant to weathering and mechanical stress, thus guaranteeing reliable results for demanding traffic signs and graphic applications.

ECO-solvent technology

ECO-solvent technology is based on special solvent inks that dry quickly, are low-odour and enable uninterrupted production processes. It is suitable for temporary and permanent traffic signs as well as for a wide range of graphic applications. ORALITE® 5017 ECO Solvent Digital Printing Ink is characterised by excellent adhesion to reflective and non-reflective materials, durable and lightfast colours, and high process stability. By combining robust printing systems, precise ink systems and efficient workflows, users can implement economical, flexible and resource-saving production processes.

Workflow-Software

The appropriate workflow software, for example from ErgoSoft or Asanti by Agfa, controls the entire printing process and ensures efficient workflow and precise colour management. It supports automated functions such as nesting or print queues, reduces set-up times and optimises production planning. Optionally, an AI-supported service and remote support ensure continuous process optimisation, stable production cycles and consistently high print quality over long production periods.
